About Psycho Drive
What Psycho Drive is
Psycho Drive is one half of the third expansion block of the BW era in Japan, released on September 16, 2011 alongside Hail Blizzard. It has 52 numbered cards plus 5 secret rares for 57 in total. The block introduced Pokémon EX, powerful Basic Pokémon that give up two Prize cards when Knocked Out. Psycho Drive is the Mewtwo side, with Mewtwo EX, Kyogre EX and Shaymin EX as full art secrets and gold Zoroark and Hydreigon as its ultra rares. The English Next Destinies of February 8, 2012 combined both halves with the Reshiram EX and Zekrom EX Battle Strength Decks for 103 cards.

The full art Mewtwo EX leads the hub in both prints, followed by the full art Kyogre EX, the gold Hydreigon and Zoroark, the full art Shaymin EX and the regular Mewtwo EX. Minccino in 1st Edition is the sleeper regular card. BW era Japanese cards show back edge whitening quickly, so clean 1st Edition copies of the Mewtwo EX are the ones worth grading.
