About EX Power Keepers

What EX Power Keepers is

EX Power Keepers is the sixteenth and final main expansion of the EX Series, released in English on February 14, 2007. It has 108 cards and no secret rares: 13 holofoil rares from Aggron 1 to Slaking 13, eight Pokémon-ex from Absol ex 92 to Walrein ex 99, the three Eeveelution Pokémon Star, Flareon 100, Jolteon 101 and Vaporeon 102, and holofoil basic Energy from 103 to 108. It is based on Pokémon Emerald and the Hoenn Elite Four. Its Japanese version, World Champions Pack, came out after the English set, on July 5, 2007, in first edition through the Pokémon Card Game website and Summer Battle Road 2007, so Japanese players would not be at a disadvantage at the 2007 World Championships.

What makes EX Power Keepers different

  • Three Eeveelution Gold Stars Jolteon 101, Vaporeon 102 and Flareon 100 hold the top three places in the set in PSA 10, the last Gold Stars of the EX Series.
  • Charizard and Charmander The reverse holofoil and regular Charizard 6 rank fourth and fifth in PSA 10, and the reverse holofoil and stamped Charmander 48 both reach the top ten.
