Perfect Order

What Perfect Order is

Perfect Order is the third main expansion of the Mega Evolution Series, released worldwide on March 27, 2026 under the set code POR. It has 88 cards in the numbered set plus 36 secret rares, for 124 cards in total. It is the first main expansion themed on the Pokémon Legends: Z-A video game and the second set overall after Ascended Heroes, with Mega Zygarde ex, the Legendary Pokémon that keeps order in Lumiose City, as its face, and Mega Clefable ex, Mega Starmie ex and Meowth ex among the city's residents.

The checklist holds nine Double rare Pokémon ex, four of them Mega Evolution Pokémon ex (Mega Starmie, Mega Clefable, Mega Zygarde and Mega Skarmory), plus 11 Illustration rares, 18 Ultra rare full art Pokémon and Trainer cards, six Special illustration rares and a single Mega Hyper Rare. Grass and Fighting share the top spot at 15 cards each, and the set carries an unusually large Trainer count of 30 cards, including the Lumiose City Stadium.

The cards come from the Japanese Nihil Zero expansion. Most carry the J regulation mark; six keep the older I mark.

What makes Perfect Order different

• Mega Zygarde ex in four forms takuyoa's Mega Zygarde ex appears as a Double rare (47), an Ultra rare (104) and the set's only Mega Hyper Rare (124), while kantaro painted the Special illustration rare (120). The Mega Hyper Rare is the most valuable pack pulled card in the set.
• The Gengar that outran the set Gengar 50 is an ordinary rare in packs, but its Pixel Cosmos Holofoil promo prints with GameStop (USA) and EB Games (Canada, Australia and New Zealand) stamps top the set's PSA 10 list, ahead of every secret rare, and further Cosmos prints came in the Gengar Enhanced 2 Pack Blister and the Pitch Black premium checklane blisters.
• Meowth ex, the city's mascot Meowth ex, an ordinary Pokémon ex, appears as a Double rare (62), an Ultra rare (107) and Natsumi Yoshida's Special illustration rare (121), which trades above the Mega Starmie ex and Mega Clefable ex Special illustration rares.
• Six Special illustration rares takuyoa's Mega Starmie ex 118, Cona Nitanda's Mega Clefable ex 119, kantaro's Mega Zygarde ex 120 and Meowth ex 121 are joined by two Supporters, Souichirou Gunjima's Jacinthe 122 and Iori Suzuki's Rosa's Encouragement 123.
• Ten full art Trainers Ten of the 18 Ultra rares are Trainer cards (108 to 117): Energy Recycler, Forest of Vitality, Jacinthe, Lumiose City, Naveen, Poké Pad, Rosa's Encouragement, Sacred Ash, Tarragon and Wondrous Patch.
• Single version blisters Unlike earlier sets, the single pack and three pack blisters came in one version each, Makuhita (MEP 068) and Chikorita (MEP 069), both on Smooth Cosmos Holofoil. Aurorus 24 and Luxray 28 gained retailer stamped Pixel Cosmos Holofoil prints from Barnes & Noble, Hot Topic, Best Buy, JB HIFI and Mr. Toys & Toymate.

How Perfect Order arrived

Japan released Nihil Zero on January 23, 2026, and the English set followed as Perfect Order on March 27, 2026, between Ascended Heroes in January and Chaos Rising in May. The set opened the Pokémon Legends: Z-A chapter of the Mega Evolution Series, with Lumiose City, its residents and its Mega Evolved Pokémon carrying the theme.

Prerelease tournaments ran on the weekends of March 14 to 15 and March 21 to 22, 2026. Every paying entrant received a Perfect Order Build & Battle Box with four booster packs, a 40 card ready to play deck built around one of four MEP Black Star Promos, a deck building tip sheet and a Pokémon TCG Live code card, and stores could sell extra boxes at the events. The promos were Serperior (MEP 064), Barbaracle (MEP 065), Tyrantrum (MEP 066) and Doublade (MEP 067), with non holofoil deck prints of Serperior 6, Landorus 41, Tyrantrum 45, Growing G Energy 86 and Rocky F Energy 87. The Serperior promo also exists with a prerelease staff stamp.

The launch products arrived together on March 27, 2026: the Elite Trainer Box and its Pokémon Center version, display boxes, the Booster Bundle, blisters and Ultra PRO portfolios. Cards from the set kept appearing afterwards: Aurorus 24, Luxray 28, Tyrantrum 45 and Gengar 50 returned as Pixel Cosmos Holofoil prints in the Pitch Black checklane blisters, and Telepathic P Energy 88 in the Pitch Black Build & Battle Box.

Perfect Order products and what came in them

The Elite Trainer Box features Mega Zygarde and holds nine booster packs, 65 card sleeves, 40 basic Energy cards, a player's guide, six damage counter dice, a coin flip die, a plastic Zygarde Core coin, six dividers, a code card and a full art Tyrunt promo (MEP Promo 070) first printed in Nihil Zero. The Pokémon Center version adds two more packs and a second Tyrunt with a Pokémon Center stamp.

The single pack blister carries Makuhita (MEP 068) and the three pack blister Chikorita (MEP 069), both on Smooth Cosmos Holofoil. Premium checklane blisters reuse the Meganium and Cinderace lines from the Mega Evolution expansion and Stage 1 blisters the Clawitzer and Steelix lines from the same set, with the top evolution on Pixel Cosmos Holofoil. Every blister but the three pack version includes a jumbo Snorlax coin. Display boxes hold 36 packs (18 in European half displays) and the Booster Bundle holds six packs. Ultra PRO released nine pocket binders featuring Mega Zygarde and Mega Clefable and four pocket binders featuring Meowth and Mega Starmie.

Collecting and grading Perfect Order

Perfect Order is a set where a promo outruns the secret rares. The stamped Gengar 50 prints lead the PSA 10 list, and the live prices above show the gap between raw and PSA 10 for each. Among pack pulled cards, Mega Zygarde ex 124 and Meowth ex 121 lead with relatively tight spreads between raw and graded, followed by Rosa's Encouragement 123, Mega Zygarde ex 120 and Mega Starmie ex 118. Masa's Aurorus 92 and the other Illustration rares sit further back.

The set released in March 2026, so the graded market is still forming: PSA 10 populations are small and early prices move quickly. Several cheap cards show high PSA 10 prices built on very few sales, including the reverse holofoil Snorlax 63 and the Serperior prerelease promo, and those numbers are thin market noise rather than a dependable exit. The checklist below tracks each stamped and Cosmos variant separately, so match the label before comparing prices.

The Mega Hyper Rare and Special illustration rares use the same etched stock as the rest of the Mega Evolution Series, so check centering and the textured surface under angled light before submitting. Sealed product is in active distribution, so displays, Elite Trainer Boxes and bundles are for opening, and the sealed table above tracks what they trade for today.
