About Rocket Gang Strikes Back
What Rocket Gang Strikes Back is
Rocket Gang Strikes Back is the third expansion of the Japanese PCG era, released on October 15, 2004 as the original print of the English EX Team Rocket Returns of November 8, 2004. It has 84 cards plus one secret, 85 in total: 28 holofoil rares, 18 rares, 16 uncommons, 20 commons and the three Pokémon Star, Treecko 11, Torchic 20 and Mudkip 33. It is built around the return of Team Rocket from Pokémon Gold, Silver and Crystal with Generation I and II Pokémon, and it introduced Pokémon Star, shiny colored cards with part of the Pokémon breaking out of the artwork window and a gold foil rarity symbol. Rocket's Pokémon-ex carry spikes on the artwork border and the Team Rocket logo in the attack box, and the first print run carries a 1st Edition mark.
