About Reviving Legends

What Reviving Legends is

Reviving Legends is the second expansion of the LEGEND era in Japan, released on February 11, 2010 with 80 numbered cards plus the Alph Lithograph secret for 81 in total. It continues the Generation II focus with Pokémon Prime for Espeon, Umbreon, Scizor, Slowking, Houndoom, Raichu, Kingdra and Lanturn, and it carries two Pokémon LEGEND pairs, Kyogre & Groudon and Rayquaza & Deoxys. The English Undaunted of August 18, 2010 expanded the pool to 91 cards. Japanese packs carried 1st Edition marks, and those prints lead the hub.

What makes Reviving Legends different

  • Eeveelution Primes Umbreon Prime and Espeon Prime are the set's headline cards, and Umbreon in reverse holo and 1st Edition sits near the top of the hub.
  • Two LEGEND pairs Kyogre & Groudon LEGEND and Rayquaza & Deoxys LEGEND each split one artwork across two cards, so a complete set needs all four halves.

Pokémon Prime have holofoil borders that chip at the corners, LEGEND halves are only worth grading as a matched pair, and 1st Edition marks carry a premium across the set.
