About Mythical & Legendary Dream Shine Collection
What Mythical & Legendary Dream Shine Collection is
Mythical & Legendary Dream Shine Collection, sold as Concept Pack Mythical & Legendary Dream Shine Collection, is the third subset of the Japanese XY BREAK era, released on July 16, 2016 alongside the nineteenth Pokémon movie, Volcanion and the Mechanical Magearna. It has 36 cards in the numbered set plus 2 secret cards, 38 in total, sold in four card packs instead of five. Every card has a gloss coating with a special holofoil inset and no printed rarity. The set collects Full Art Mythical Pokémon from the 20th anniversary Mythical Collections issued outside Japan, adds Volcanion and the newly revealed Magearna, and reprints English exclusive artwork, with most Pokémon appearing twice, such as Mew 16 and 17 and Celebi 1 and 2, and Yveltal 37 and Xerneas 38 as the secrets.
What makes Mythical & Legendary Dream Shine Collection different
- Mew on top Mew 17 is the most valuable card in the set in PSA 10, with Mew 16 also in the top six, the two glossy Mew prints that define the subset.
- Legendary secrets Yveltal EX 37 and Xerneas EX 38, the two secret cards, rank second and third in PSA 10, with Rayquaza EX 34 fourth.

Collecting and grading Mythical & Legendary Dream Shine Collection
Mew 17 leads the set in PSA 10, with Yveltal EX 37 second, then Xerneas EX 38, Rayquaza EX 34, Celebi 2, Mew 16, Darkrai 24, Jirachi 27, Victini 7, Arceus 36, Shaymin 4 and Manaphy 12. The live chase list above ranks every tracked card by PSA 10 value. The gloss coating shows scratches readily, so PSA 10 copies carry a wider premium than most Japanese sets of the era. Sealed Dream Shine Collection is scarce, and the sealed table above tracks what boxes and packs trade for today.
