About Mega Brave
What Mega Brave is
Mega Brave is one half of the first expansion of the Japanese MEGA era, released on August 1, 2025 alongside its paired set Mega Symphonia under the set code M1L. It has 63 cards in the numbered set plus 29 secret rares, 92 in total, all on the I regulation mark, and the two sets together hold 184 cards. Mega Brave is the Mega Lucario ex set, with Mega Venusaur ex, Mega Camerupt ex, Mega Absol ex and Mega Mawile ex as its other Mega Evolution Pokémon ex.
The two sets brought Mega Evolution back to the game as Mega Evolution Pokémon ex worth 3 Prize cards, and they were the first to print Item, Pokémon Tool and Stadium cards as full art Super Rares. Fighting is the most represented type at 23 cards, and there are no Lightning or Dragon Pokémon in Mega Brave; those sit in Mega Symphonia.
The secret rares run from 64 to 92: 12 Illustration rares, 11 full art Super Rares, five Special illustration rares and the gold Mega Ultra Rare Mega Lucario ex at 92. The cards reached English in the Mega Evolution expansion of September 26, 2025.

- Lillie's Determination satoma's Special illustration rare Lillie's Determination 91 is the set's second card and the most valuable Trainer in either half of the expansion, well ahead of osare's Lt. Surge's Deal 90.
- Arita's Mega Absol ex Mitsuhiro Arita, the illustrator of the original Base Set Charizard, painted the Special illustration rare Mega Absol ex 89.
- Five card packs Each booster pack holds 5 cards and each booster box 30 packs, and the Premium Trainer Box MEGA launched the era's accessories alongside the two sets.
How Mega Brave arrived
Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia released in Japan on August 1, 2025, two months after Black Bolt and White Flare closed the Scarlet & Violet era on June 6, 2025 and ahead of Inferno X on September 26, 2025. Korea followed on August 15, 2025 and the Traditional Chinese, Indonesian and Thai markets on September 26, 2025, the day the English Mega Evolution expansion combined both sets. The Traditional Chinese markets also received the 10-Pack Set Plus, with 5 packs of each set, a deck case and a promo pack of one of three holofoil trios, including Makuhita, Riolu and Marshadow with Basic Fighting Energy.
Mega Brave products
Mega Brave was sold in booster packs of 5 cards and booster boxes of 30 packs, with the Premium Trainer Box MEGA released alongside the two sets. The sealed table above tracks all three.
Collecting and grading Mega Brave
The Mega Ultra Rare Mega Lucario ex 92 leads the live prices above, with satoma's Lillie's Determination 91 second and Atsushi Furusawa's Special illustration rare Mega Lucario ex 88 third. mashu's Mega Venusaur ex 87, the full art Lillie's Determination 86 and Mitsuhiro Arita's Mega Absol ex 89 follow, then the full art Mega Lucario ex 78 and Mega Venusaur ex 76.
Miltank 54, Dialga 47, Bulbasaur 1 and Cinderace 17 show PSA 10 prices far above their raw values on very few sales; treat them as noise from a young market. mashu's Illustration rare Bulbasaur 64 is the Illustration rare collectors actually chase.
Japanese print quality keeps PSA 10 rates high, so the graded premium sits on the Mega Lucario ex prints and Lillie. The sealed table above tracks what boxes, packs and the Premium Trainer Box MEGA trade for today.
