About McDonald's Collection 2023
What McDonald's Collection 2023 is
McDonald's Collection 2023 repeated the Match Battle format with a Paldea checklist. Happy Meals came with a four card pack and a toy, a spinner and coin or a book, and players compared HP, height, weight, Pokédex number or set number in a best three out of five game. Each pack held one Confetti Holofoil card and three non holo cards, and only six of the 15 cards exist in holofoil: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, Cetitan, Pikachu and Klawf. The promotion began on July 27, 2023 in Germany and Austria, then reached other markets on August 23, September 12 and October 7.
What makes McDonald's Collection 2023 different
- Paldea starters in holo Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly all come in Confetti Holofoil, the first Happy Meal cards of the Scarlet & Violet era starters.
- Klawf and Cetitan The two other Paldea holos are odd choices that gave the set its character, and Klawf ranks third in the hub.

Collecting and grading McDonald's Collection 2023
The Confetti Holofoil Pikachu leads the hub, followed by Quaxly, Klawf, Fuecoco, Cetoddle and Pawmi, then Kilowattrel, Sandaconda, Cyclizar, Flittle, Kirlia and Tandemaus. The six holos are the cards worth grading. Confetti Holofoil shows scratches under light, so check the Pikachu and starters closely before submitting.
