About McDonald's Collection 2021
What McDonald's Collection 2021 is
McDonald's Collection 2021 celebrated the Pokémon 25th Anniversary with 25 cards, all reprints of first partner Pokémon from Black & White, XY, Sun & Moon and Sword & Shield series expansions. Each card keeps its original layout and adds the 25th Anniversary logo in the corner of the artwork, with a new set symbol and numbering. Happy Meals came with a four card pack in a cardboard envelope printed with a puzzle, plus one of four novelty items, and every card exists in non holo and Confetti Holofoil form with one Confetti Holo per pack. The promotion started in the United States on February 9, 2021 and rolled out across more than a dozen countries through October 15.
What makes McDonald's Collection 2021 different
- Every starter through Galar The 25 cards cover the first partner Pokémon of every region from Kanto to Galar, from Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle to Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble, with Pikachu closing the set at 25.
- The pack that sold out Demand during the 2021 collecting boom cleared Happy Meal supplies in days, and sealed four card packs remain a tracked product in the hub.

Collecting and grading McDonald's Collection 2021
The Confetti Holofoil Mudkip leads the hub, followed by holo Pikachu, Piplup, Squirtle, Oshawott, Torchic and Cyndaquil, then the non holo Pikachu and Mudkip, Chikorita and holo Rowlet. A full holo set of 25 is the usual goal, and Pikachu 25 in holo is the card most often graded. Check the Confetti Holofoil under light for scratches, since packs were opened by children in the millions.
