About Terastal Festival ex
What Terastal Festival ex is
Terastal Festival ex is a high class set of the Japanese Scarlet & Violet era, released on December 6, 2024 with the set code SV8a as the Japanese source of the English Prismatic Evolutions of January 17, 2025. It has 187 cards in the numbered set plus 50 secret cards, 237 in total, with 35 Pokémon ex among the numbered cards, and it is built around Eevee and the Eeveelutions as Stellar Tera Pokémon ex alongside a grand gathering of Pokémon ex from across the era.
The set introduced two parallel holofoil variants with a Poké Ball or a Master Ball etched into the background, alongside the regular reverse holo, so common, uncommon and rare Pokémon exist in three patterns. The 50 secrets run from 188 to 237: twelve full art Supporters from 188 to 199, special art rare Pokémon ex from Leafeon ex 200 to Terapagos ex 226, six special art rare Supporters from 227 to 232 and the gold Iron Leaves ex 233, Ogerpon ex 234, Walking Wake ex 235, Pikachu ex 236 and Terapagos ex 237.
What makes Terastal Festival ex different
- The Eeveelution ex set Umbreon ex 217 by YASHIRO Nanaco is the most valuable card in the set in PSA 10 by a wide margin, and the special art rare Sylveon ex 212, Espeon ex 211, Leafeon ex 200, Glaceon ex 206 and Vaporeon ex 205 fill the next places with Pikachu ex 236.
- Master Ball holos The Master Ball pattern is the scarcest of the three holofoil variants, and the Master Ball Umbreon 92 ranks fourth in the whole set in PSA 10, far above the same card's regular print.
- Two Eevee ex Eevee itself appears as two special art rares, Eevee ex 223 by tono and Eevee ex 224 by Natsuko Shoji été, both in the set's top fifteen in PSA 10.

Collecting and grading Terastal Festival ex
Umbreon ex 217 leads the set in PSA 10, with Sylveon ex 212 second, then Pikachu ex 236, the Master Ball Umbreon 92, Espeon ex 211, Leafeon ex 200, Glaceon ex 206, Vaporeon ex 205, Flareon ex 202 and Jolteon ex 209. The live chase list above ranks every tracked card by PSA 10 value.
Japanese print quality keeps PSA 10 rates high, so graded premiums are modest and concentrate on the Umbreon ex and the Master Ball variants, while regular cards such as Slither Wing 87 cost little raw but reach the top fifteen graded. Regular, Poké Ball and Master Ball prints are graded and priced separately. Sealed Terastal Festival ex remains obtainable, and the sealed table above tracks what boxes and packs trade for today.
