About Plasma Gale
What Plasma Gale is
Plasma Gale is the seventh main expansion of the BW era in Japan, released on September 14, 2012 with 70 numbered cards plus 9 secret rares for 79 in total. It opened the Team Plasma story with a new card design for Team Plasma cards: blue borders and artwork windows, blue and silver strips, a Team Plasma bar under the HP and the team logo in the attack and description boxes. The set carries Lugia EX and Articuno EX with full art prints, the ACE SPEC Items Dowsing Machine, Scramble Switch and Victory Piece, and secret rare Charizard and Blastoise. The English Plasma Storm of February 6, 2013 expanded the pool to 138 cards.
What makes Plasma Gale different
- Secret Charizard and Blastoise The two Kanto starters appear as secret rares at the end of the set, and the Charizard is the top card of the hub in both 1st Edition and unlimited prints.
- Team Plasma design Team Plasma Pokémon and Trainers carry their own blue frame, and full art Team Plasma EX cards keep the team branding, which makes the set easy to spot in a binder.
