What Miracle Crystal is
Miracle Crystal is the eighth expansion of the PCG era in Japan, released on March 10, 2006 with 75 cards. It is set on a mysterious island far from Holon where regular and Delta Species Pokémon live together among crystals said to grant special powers, and it is the last expansion to feature dual type Delta Species. The set carries two Gold Stars, Celebi at number 4 and Alakazam at number 33, along with Pokémon ex such as Jirachi ex and Blaziken ex. The English EX Crystal Guardians of August 30, 2006 expanded the pool to 100 cards.
What makes Miracle Crystal different
- Two Gold Stars Celebi and Alakazam Gold Stars both come from this set, and their 1st Edition prints are the top two cards of the hub.
- Last of the Delta Species Miracle Crystal closed the Delta Species story that began in Holon, so it is the final set with dual type Delta Pokémon.
Collecting and grading Miracle Crystal
The Alakazam and Celebi Gold Stars lead the hub, with 1st Edition prints ranked above unlimited, followed by Charizard in both prints, Jigglypuff, Jirachi ex, Blastoise and Blaziken ex. The hub tracks no sealed rows for this set. PCG era holos scratch across the holo window and Gold Stars often show edge wear, so inspect under angled light before grading.
