Glory of Team Rocket

What Glory of Team Rocket is

Glory of Team Rocket, translated by Bulbapedia as Glory of the Rocket Gang, is the tenth main expansion of the Japanese Scarlet & Violet era, released on April 18, 2025 under the set code SV10. It has 98 cards in the numbered set plus 34 secret rares, 132 in total, almost all on the I regulation mark. It is a Team Rocket set from top to bottom: Giovanni and Mewtwo front the booster packs, the accessories are Team Rocket themed, and many of its cards are Team Rocket's Pokémon, which use the same mechanics as Owner's Pokémon with a picture of the Trainer at the bottom right of the artwork that varies from card to card.

The numbered set carries eight Double rare Pokémon ex, five of them Team Rocket's: Moltres ex, Mewtwo ex, Nidoking ex, Crobat ex and Persian ex, alongside Arboliva ex, Wailord ex and Regirock ex. The secret rares run from 99 to 132: 12 Illustration rares, 13 Ultra rares including the full art Team Rocket executives Ariana, Archer, Giovanni, Petrel and Proton, six Special illustration rares and three gold Hyper rares, Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex, Team Rocket's Crobat ex and Jamming Tower. Darkness is the most represented type at 24 cards.

The set is the Japanese source of the English Destined Rivals of May 30, 2025.

What makes Glory of Team Rocket different

• Team Rocket's Pokémon The set brought back Team Rocket as owners, with Team Rocket's Moltres ex, Mewtwo ex, Nidoking ex, Crobat ex and Persian ex and a supporting cast from Team Rocket's Meowth and Wobbuffet to Team Rocket's Weezing, each showing a different Team Rocket member in the corner of the art.
• The executives as full arts Ariana, Archer, Giovanni, Petrel and Proton appear as full art Supporters from 119 to 123, and Giovanni and Ariana also have Special illustration rares by Krgc and Yoshioka.
• Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex Iwamoto05's Special illustration rare Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex 125 is the most valuable card in the set by a wide margin, with the gold print at 130, the full art at 114 and the Double rare at 39 all on the chase list.
• Thirty packs a box Each booster box holds 30 packs, the Japanese standard, and the Team Rocket Attache Case Set was released alongside the set as a themed accessory bundle.
• Six weeks ahead of English Destined Rivals combined Glory of Team Rocket with Heat Wave Arena on May 30, 2025, so the Japanese printing was the first to carry every Team Rocket's Pokémon ex.

How Glory of Team Rocket arrived

Glory of Team Rocket released in Japan on April 18, 2025, five weeks after the Heat Wave Arena enhanced expansion pack of March 14, 2025 and seven weeks before Black Bolt and White Flare closed the Japanese Scarlet & Violet era on June 6, 2025. Its English counterpart, Destined Rivals, followed on May 30, 2025 with the Heat Wave Arena cards folded in.

The set's early market formed around Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex in its four prints.

Collecting and grading Glory of Team Rocket

Iwamoto05's Special illustration rare Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex 125 leads the live prices above, followed by AKIRA EGAWA's Team Rocket's Moltres ex 124, Uninori's Team Rocket's Nidoking ex 126, the gold Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex 130, the full art Mewtwo ex 114, cochi8i's Team Rocket's Crobat ex 127 and the Special illustration rare Giovanni 129 and Ariana 128, with Mékayu's Illustration rare Kangaskhan 110 and Shimaris Yukichi's Team Rocket's Meowth 109 the leading Illustration rares.

Team Rocket's Zapdos 33, Team Rocket's Hypno 38, the Double rare Mewtwo ex 39, Regirock ex 55 and Crobat ex 66 show PSA 10 prices far above raw copies worth a dollar or two; treat those as thin market noise from a young set.

Japanese print quality keeps PSA 10 rates high, so the graded premium sits on the Mewtwo ex prints. The sealed table above tracks what boxes, packs and the Attache Case Set trade for today.
