About Dragon Vault
What Dragon Vault is
Dragon Vault is a special expansion released in English on October 5, 2012, in the Year of the Dragon. It has 20 cards in the numbered set plus one secret card, Kyurem 21, 21 in total, every one a holofoil, and it is built from the Japanese Dragon Selection, the first subset of the BW era released on January 27, 2012. It introduced the Dragon type to the card game with the Dratini, Bagon and Axew lines, Latias 9, Latios 10, Rayquaza 11 and Druddigon 17 plus three Trainers. Dragon Vault packs held five holofoil cards and were never sold in booster boxes, only inside the Dragon Vault Blisters, which also carried Mirror Holofoil Latias, Latios, Rayquaza and Haxorus stamped with the set name. It launched as its own one set Series before being listed with Black & White.

- Rayquaza Rayquaza 11 is the most valuable card in the set in PSA 10 in both its stamped blister print and its regular print.
- Dragonite and Latias Dragonite 5 ranks third in PSA 10 and Latias 9 fourth, with the secret Kyurem 21 fifth and a Cosmos Holofoil Dragonite 5 from the XY blisters also in the top ten.
