About Delta Reign

What Delta Reign is

Delta Reign is the sixth main expansion of the Mega Evolution series and it releases worldwide on November 6, 2026. Mega Rayquaza ex is the central Pokémon, joined by Mega Golisopod ex, Mega Golurk ex and Mega Malamar ex. The set carries more than 135 cards, built from the Japanese Storm Emeralda expansion of July 31, 2026 plus cards from the three ex Starter Sets released the same day, and it introduces Legendary Stadiums, pairs of Stadium cards whose artwork joins into one picture. This page tracks the news, the confirmed English cards and the Japanese checklist until live prices and the chase order fill in.

Reveal timeline and latest news

Delta Reign was first named on June 18, 2026, alongside Storm Emeralda and the Pokémon TCG Pocket set Ruler of the Skies. Storm Emeralda reached Japanese shelves on July 31, 2026 with the ex Starter Sets built around Eevee ex, Zoroark ex and Meowscarada ex. The full English reveal came on August 20, 2026 with the four Mega Evolution ex cards, the Legendary Summit pair and the product lineup, and the press release confirmed a Pokémon TCG Live arrival on November 5, 2026. Grisham followed on September 2, 2026, and the product promos were numbered on September 4: Spritzee 115, Seel 116 and the Elite Trainer Box Kyogre 117.

The English reveal season opened on September 21, 2026 with a Pokemon.com feature showing Heat Rotom ex, Groudon, Kommo-o, Delibird, Zinnia's Trust and the Eevee illustration rare, and the next day European outlets, IGN and GamesRadar added 19 more, among them Meowscarada ex, the Legendary Trench pair, five illustration rares and the Raikou ex special illustration rare by Oku at 136/103. Four more cards followed by September 25.

On September 28, 2026 Pokemon.com revealed the four Build & Battle Box promos, Masquerain, Magmortar, Enamorus and Kommo-o, each stamped with the set logo, and seven cards from their decks joined the English list the same day: Electivire, Thundurus, Landorus, Spinarak, Druddigon, Tornadus and the Item Adventure Lantern. Pokémon Center preorders opened on September 30, 2026 behind a queue of more than 8 hours and sold out. On October 3, 2026 the Zorua illustration rare by GOSSAN joined Sprigatito and Eevee as the third starter deck illustration rare shown in English.

As of October 5, 2026 the confirmed English list stands at 44 cards; the third Legendary Stadium pair, the ultra rares and the Mega Rayquaza ex secret rares still lack English numbers. Prerelease events run from October 24 to November 1, 2026. Refreshed weekly until launch.

What makes Delta Reign different

  • Legendary Stadiums Six Stadium cards form three Legendary Stadiums. Each pair is played together as one card whose two illustrations join into a single scene, and any booster pack that holds one holds both halves. Legendary Summit and Legendary Trench are confirmed in English; the third pair, which Bulbapedia translates as Legendary Lava Tube, has not been shown yet. Groudon's Savage Ground gains 170 damage with one in play.
  • Rayquaza leads a set again Rayquaza last headlined an English expansion in Evolving Skies in 2021, and Mega Rayquaza itself has not had a card since XY Ancient Origins in 2015. Mega Rayquaza ex arrives with 280 HP in regular, ultra rare and special illustration rare form, plus a gold print in Japan.
  • Two Japanese sources PokeBeach reports that Delta Reign takes 110 plus cards from Storm Emeralda and about 30 unique cards from the ex Starter Sets, which is how Eevee ex, Zoroark ex and Meowscarada ex join a Rayquaza set. Meowscarada ex, Jolteon and Eevee are confirmed from the decks, as are the Sprigatito, Eevee and Zorua illustration rares.
  • Four Mega Evolution ex, four pack arts Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golisopod ex, Mega Golurk ex and Mega Malamar ex each front their own booster pack artwork.

What Storm Emeralda tells us about the checklist

Storm Emeralda is an early look at the English secret rares. It runs 76 numbered cards plus 37 secret rares for 113 in total: 12 illustration rares (Masquerain, Growlithe, Magmortar, Kyogre, Electivire, Pincurchin, Enamorus, Groudon, Inkay, Azurill, Altaria and Kecleon), 18 ultra rares (the eight ex and Mega ex, three Items, four Supporters and three Special Energy cards), six special illustration rares (Mega Golisopod ex, Raikou ex, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Rayquaza ex, Aarune and Zinnia's Trust) and a gold Mega Rayquaza ex at 113.

The illustration rares begin at 104, straight after the 103 regular cards, with Masquerain 104, Sprigatito 105, Growlithe 106, Pincurchin 109, Eevee 114 and Azurill 115 confirmed, Zorua revealed, and the Raikou ex special illustration rare at 136. Sprigatito, Eevee and Zorua join from the starter decks, the Kyogre illustration rare is the Elite Trainer Box promo, and one ultra rare drops out to reach the official 17. On the Japanese market the gold Mega Rayquaza ex sits at the top, followed by its special illustration rare and full art prints, the Kecleon illustration rare by Tomokazu Komiya and the Raikou ex and Zinnia's Trust special illustration rares; live Japanese values are on the Storm Emeralda page.

Delta Reign products

The lineup follows the usual Mega Evolution format.

Rarity breakdown

The official count lists four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, six Pokémon ex, six Stadium cards forming three Legendary Stadiums, more than 20 Trainer cards, 14 illustration rares, 17 ultra rares and six special illustration rares, for more than 135 cards. The regular set runs to 103, the illustration rares start at 104 and the Raikou ex special illustration rare sits at 136. Mega Evolution ex cards give up three Prize cards when Knocked Out, so expect the Mega Rayquaza ex prints to carry the premium in every tier.

How to get ready for launch

Prerelease events from October 24 to November 1, 2026 are the first place to open Delta Reign. Pokémon Center preorders opened on September 30, 2026 with limits of two Elite Trainer Boxes and one Booster Box or Booster Bundle per customer and sold out at once; TCGplayer, GameStop and local game stores still list preorders at a markup, so retail on November 6 is the sensible entry point. The Storm Emeralda hub is the best guide to which English cards will matter: Mega Rayquaza ex in special illustration rare and gold form, the Raikou ex special illustration rare at 136, the Zinnia's Trust special illustration rare and the Kecleon illustration rare, while the Kyogre illustration rare comes only from the Elite Trainer Box. Textured special illustration rares hide light scratches, so judge centering and borders. After release the checklist, chase list and sealed prices fill in from live sales.
