About Islands Await You
What Islands Await You is
Islands Await You is one half of the second expansion block of the Sun & Moon era in Japan, released on March 17, 2017 alongside Alolan Moonlight. It has 50 numbered cards plus 12 secret rares for 62 in total. The set's GX cards are Turtonator GX, Alolan Ninetales GX, Tapu Koko GX and Kommo-o GX, each with regular, full art and rainbow prints, and Hala received a full art Supporter by Naoki Saito. Field Blower and Max Potion are the gold secret Items. The English Guardians Rising of May 5, 2017 combined both halves with the Sun & Moon Strength Expansion Pack and the Rockruff Full Power Deck for 169 cards.
What makes Islands Await You different
- Tapu Koko's set The Alolan guardian appears here in all three GX prints, and the rainbow Tapu Koko GX leads the hub ahead of every other card in the set.
- Slowbro and Slowpoke The regular Slowbro and Slowpoke rank in the top half of the hub, a sign of how much Japanese collectors chase the set's cute regular cards.
