What Holon Research Tower is
Holon Research Tower is the sixth expansion of the Japanese PCG era, released on October 28, 2005, three days before its English version EX Delta Species of October 31, 2005. It has 86 cards: 22 holofoil rares, 20 rares, 20 uncommons, 21 commons and the three Pokémon Star, Kyogre 28, Groudon 56 and Metagross 75, plus the Eeveelution Pokémon-ex Flareon ex, Jolteon ex and Vaporeon ex. The set introduced δ Delta Species, Pokémon altered by radiation from a Holon experiment so that they carry a type other than their usual one, marked with δ Delta Species between the name and HP, and Holon's Pokémon that double as Special Energy. Its holofoils include Mewtwo δ 19, Tyranitar δ 20, Dragonite δ 39, Rayquaza δ 43, Umbreon δ 69 and Espeon δ 49, and the first print run carries a 1st Edition mark.

- Three Gold Stars The Groudon 56 Gold Star is the most valuable card in the set in PSA 10 in both its unlimited and 1st Edition prints, with the 1st Edition Metagross 75 and Kyogre 28 Gold Stars behind it.
- Ditto and Mewtwo δ The 1st Edition Ditto 33 and Ditto 24 and Mewtwo δ 19 in both prints all rank in the set's top eight in PSA 10, ahead of Jolteon ex 4.
