About Mew ex 158/128

Mew ex 158/128 is the second of the two Futuristic Rares in 30th Celebration, released on September 16, 2026, and the last numbered card in the set. Mew ex also appears as the double rare 66/128 by aky CG Works and as the special illustration rare 152/128 by Kuroimori. The Japanese Futuristic Rare is 30th Celebration 135/103.

Together with Mewtwo ex 157 it introduced the Futuristic Rare, a rarity created for the 30th Anniversary. Pokémon has not published pull rates; early opening data puts a Futuristic Rare at about one in every 120 packs.

YOSHIROTTEN illustrated both Futuristic Rares. The rarity is defined by vivid color and lighting on the Pokémon with 3D Energy and Poké Ball graphics, which sets Mew ex 158 and Mewtwo ex 157 apart from every other card in the set.
